The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), a multi-use resource agency responsible for ensuring self-sustaining populations and the natural diversity of wildlife, fish, and plant resources on public lands across the western United States, is offering this grant. This grant is for the purpose of actively combating one of the greatest threats to natural ecosystems: invasive species, which are harmful nonnative plants and animals. Through this project, the BLM aims to encourage sportsmen and recreationalists to prevent the spread of these detrimental species. The initiative will achieve this by implementing targeted outreach efforts, empowering public land users to contribute to the preservation and long-term health of vital natural areas.
