The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering a grant specifically for the management of invasive and noxious species across its administered lands. This grant aims to fund critical projects focused on the detection, prevention, control, and eradication of non-native plant and animal species that threaten the ecological health, biodiversity, and productivity of public lands. Eligible activities may include, but are not limited to, implementing integrated pest management strategies, restoring degraded habitats, conducting monitoring and research to improve management techniques, and fostering partnerships for collaborative efforts. The initiative seeks to protect natural resources, safeguard native ecosystems, and ensure the long-term sustainability of BLM-managed areas from the detrimental impacts of invasive species.
