This grant is for the purpose of supporting aquatic resources management initiatives under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), offered by the Department of the Interior – Bureau of Land Management Headquarters (HQ). The Bureau of Land Management seeks proposals for projects that conserve, restore, and enhance vital aquatic ecosystems across public lands. This includes efforts related to water quality, habitat restoration for fish and wildlife, sustainable water use, and resilience to climate change. Funding supports comprehensive management strategies to ensure the long-term health and productivity of streams, rivers, lakes, and wetlands. This opportunity is critical for advancing ecological balance and biodiversity within BLM-managed areas. Interested applicants should prepare proposals focusing on innovative solutions for aquatic resource challenges. The application period closes on May 16, 2023.
