This grant, offered by the Bureau of Land Management Idaho, is for creating impactful youth conservation opportunities on public lands. Leveraging funds from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), this initiative aims to engage young individuals in critical conservation and stewardship activities. Projects supported by this grant may encompass a range of vital tasks, including ecological restoration, trail maintenance, habitat improvement, and other activities designed to protect and enhance Idaho’s natural resources. The program’s core purpose is to provide participants with valuable hands-on experience, cultivate a strong conservation ethic, and develop practical skills crucial for future careers in natural resource management. This effort ultimately contributes to the long-term health and sustainability of Idaho’s public lands, while empowering the next generation of environmental stewards.
