This grant, offered by the Bureau of Land Management Idaho, is specifically designed to support crucial initiatives in plant conservation and restoration management within the state. Its primary purpose is to fund projects aimed at preserving native plant species, restoring degraded ecosystems, and enhancing biodiversity across public lands managed by the Bureau. This includes efforts like re-establishing indigenous flora, combating invasive species, improving habitat health, and ensuring the long-term ecological resilience of Idaho’s unique landscapes. The program seeks proposals that demonstrate innovative and effective strategies for sustainable plant management, contributing to the overall health and vitality of the region’s natural resources. Interested applicants should note the closing date of April 8, 2024, to submit their proposals for this vital environmental funding.
