The Department of the Interior, specifically the Bureau of Land Management New Mexico office, is offering this grant to support critical efforts in managing invasive and noxious plants. This grant is for the purpose of combating the proliferation of non-native species that pose a significant threat to the ecological integrity, native biodiversity, and overall health of landscapes within New Mexico. Funded projects will focus on strategies for the control, eradication, and long-term monitoring of these detrimental plant populations on BLM-managed lands. This opportunity aims to foster the restoration of affected ecosystems and promote sustainable land management practices across the state. The application period for this vital initiative closes on April 3, 2023.
