Description:

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to University of California, Santa Cruz under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(16) and 3407(e).  Estimated total amount of agreement is$1,987,654.00. Reclamation is providing $942,265.00 in Fiscal Year 2018.  This additional funding will continue the following objectives for Water Year 2019:

 

Objective #1: Deploy and service field monitoring acoustic telemetry stations at

                        locations important to fish and water management

 

Objective #2:  Implant, transport, and release acoustically tagged juvenile

                         ESA-listed wild and hatchery juvenile salmonids

 

Objective #3:  Support production and development of new metrics for

                         understanding the survival, distribution, and entrainment of

                         juvenile salmonid along the Sacramento River and its floodways,

                         as well as, the Bay-Delta
