The Bureau of Reclamation is offering this grant to the Methow Salmon Recovery Foundation (MSRF) to reconstruct key rock weirs in Beaver Creek. This grant is for the purpose of restoring critical fish passage for threatened and endangered salmon and steelhead populations in the Upper Columbia Region’s Methow Subbasin. Building upon a long-standing Cooperative Agreement initiated in 2009, MSRF will act as Project Sponsor, collaborating with Reclamation to rebuild the Forth Thurlow, Thurlow Transfer, and Marracci weirs. This crucial work will mitigate adverse effects from ongoing in-river maintenance and operational activities, ensuring the continued recovery and enhancement of fish habitat within the region.

This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamations intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition.
