Agency Name:: Bureau of Reclamation – Mid-Pacific Region
Description:: The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to award a sole-source cooperative agreement to the California Department of Water Resources, under the authority of CFDA 15.512, Central Valley Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1) and 3407(e), on the following program: Design Technical Assistance and Trinity Management Council (TMC) Support. The purpose of the project will: assist in protecting the Trinity River basin by providing the technical information needed to design river rehabilitation projects that mitigate for the effects of the Trinity River Diversion on the fish and wildlife; provide mitigation for domestic water sources, septic systems, and other physical infrastructures that may be affected in the floodplain; provide design services and monitoring for channel rehabilitation and sediment management which will support commercial, Tribal, and recreational fisheries; assist in restoring and maintaining the Trinity River’s fishery resources by rehabilitating the river itself, and restore the dynamic alluvial processes that maintain aquatic habitat. Period of Performance is from the date of award to September 30, 2017. Estimate amount: $1,054,250.00. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM2 paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
