Agency Name: Bureau of Reclamation
Description: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1) and 3407(e). Estimated total amount of agreement is $5,628,133.00. Reclamation is providing $600,000.00 in Fiscal Year 2016. The objectives of the project are to:

Objective #1: Estimate adult escapement of Sacramento River winter-run
Chinook Salmon.

Objective #2: Estimate adult escapement of Central Valley spring-run Chinook
Salmon in Deer, Antelope, and Mill creeks.

Objective #3: Estimate adult escapement of fall-run Chinook Salmon in the
mainstem Sacramento River, American River, Clear, Mill, Deer,
Battle, Cow, Cottonwood, and Bear creeks.

Objective #4: Determine the effectiveness of salmonid spawning and rearing
habitat restoration/improvement projects at meeting project
goals.

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
