Description: | This project will enhance existing programs to augment and maintain the resident razorback sucker population in Lake Mead by providing additional sub-adult fish of a suitable size for release to the wild and additional fish for future research purposes. This project will supplement and support ongoing efforts by the Bureau to implement provisions of the LCR MSCP and directly support LCR MSCP obligations for rearing and release of sub-adult razorback sucker to the Colorado River system, and requirements for research on razorback suckers and other native fish species.
The grant recipient shall submit a list of project objectives relating to the improvement, maintenance, repair, and monitoring of razorback sucker rearing ponds at the OWMA, Overton, NV.
