The Department of Health in Botswana, under PEPFAR, is offering a grant to enhance training and mentoring for treatment, care, and support in areas such as PMTCT, TB/HIV, laboratory, informatics, and cervical cancer. The program aims to strengthen local capacity in partnership with the Ministry of Health to address the high HIV prevalence and TB incidence in the country. Training and mentoring activities are crucial to combat staff turnover and evolving healthcare recommendations, with a focus on sustainability without external assistance by the end of the cooperative agreement period.
