This grant, offered by the CDC, aims to bolster Haiti’s capacity to deliver high-impact HIV prevention, care, and treatment programs. Specifically, it targets key populations, including commercial sex workers, transgender individuals, men who have sex with men, and adolescent girls and young women. The primary objective is to improve condom and PrEP use, enhance case identification, facilitate linkage to and retention in care, ensure adherence to antiretroviral therapy, and achieve viral suppression. Recipients will empower healthcare and community outreach workers through quality assurance and improvement activities. Stigma-free, client-centered services will be implemented collaboratively with local key population associations across all 10 administrative departments of Haiti, enhancing comprehensive access to vital HIV/AIDS services.
