| Additional Information on Eligibility: | The International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI) is the only global alliance of public health leaders and partners dedicated to promoting the work and development of national public health institutes (NPHIs). It was created to assist low-resource countries in developing or strengthening NPHIs, and to build an international community of NPHI directors that could share knowledge and be international advocates for public health systems strengthening and investment. The IANPHI network has 86 member institutes from 77 countries, benefiting more than 75 per cent of the world’s population. In addition, IANPHI is the only global organization that strengthens NPHIs using an evidence-based international framework for NPHI development. |

| Description: | Through this cooperative agreement CDC will be able to leverage resources and investments in a country aligned with the Ministry of Healths stated direction for developing a NPHI. Drawing upon the experience and expertise of the members of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes and CDC, countries will be better capacitated to identify and respond to health threats.
