A Bona Fide Agent is an agency/organization identified by the state as eligible to submit an application under the state eligibility in lieu of a state application. If applying as a bona fide agent of a state or local government, a legal, binding agreement from the state or local government as documentation of the status is required. Attach with "Other Attachment Forms" when submitting via www.grants.gov.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) entities are not eligible to apply. Foreign (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not allowed.

1) conduct malaria operational research and monitoring and evaluation activities in Uganda in conjunction with the national malaria program and other partners;
2) develop and validate the impact of revised, enhanced or novel interventions that will contribute to effective malaria control;
3) assist the Ministry of Health in translating operational research findings into public health practice in Uganda, and insure sharing of expertise and research findings with other partners and countries.
