| Description:: | Purpose:
As a critical component of the nations pandemic response plan, the IIS Sentinel Sites would be called upon to report vaccination of both children and adults. In an effort to increase pandemic preparedness and readiness for a potential pandemic influenza vaccination campaign, funds will be provided to increase capacity in several areas. Existing Sentinel Sites who receive funding will work to increase vaccine providers of adults enrolled and submitting immunizations to the IIS, and enable the sites to collect and report data on vaccine antigen and adjuvant.
