| Additional Information on Eligibility: | Eligible applicants are public or private organizations knowledgeable and experienced in the field of Indian Tribal affairs and child welfare. (42 U.S.C. 476(c)(C)) Collaborative efforts and interdisciplinary approaches are acceptable. Applications from collaborations must identify a primary applicant responsible for administering the cooperative agreement. The terms "Indian," "Indian Tribe," and "Tribal Organization" used in this announcement are defined under the Indian Self-Determination and Education Act (25 U.S.C. 450b). Faith-based and community organizations are eligible to apply. Foreign entities are not eligible under this announcement. |
