This grant is for promoting interdisciplinary research in Quantum Information Science (QIS) by fostering collaboration between QIS experts and researchers from Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) or Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) disciplines. The program provides resources for these faculty to actively engage in joint research efforts, specifically addressing complex problems at the interface of mathematical, physical, and computer and information sciences. Support is provided for long-term faculty visits to host institutions, enabling deeper engagement and collaborative innovation in QIS.
