This collaborative effort in the community of the City of Ridgefield, Washington has been organized to construct a community park that will be known as Overlook Park. The park will permanently protect the view over Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge from the city center. Ridgefield NWR is contributing this funding to the larger grant being administered by the City of Ridgefield for the park. FWS will participate in regularly scheduled meetings and will provide technical assistance to ensure that interpretive media (panel, exhibits and artwork) are comprehensive and accurately reflect the history of the Ridgefield NWR lands.
