The Community Health Applied Research Network (CHARN) is offering this grant to establish and support four Research Node Centers. This initiative, funded by the Recovery Act, aims to build vital Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) Data Infrastructure. Each Research Node Center will serve as the crucial coordinating arm for its respective Research Node. These Nodes are formed by health center-led consortia in partnership with academic institutions. The primary purpose of this grant is to enable these centers to effectively arrange and manage the participation of at least three affiliate organizations, maintain necessary scientific and technical personnel for research protocol development and implementation, coordinate all intra-node activities, and provide resources for collaborative research among safety net providers.
