Additional Information

Agency Name: Geological Survey
Description: The US Geological Survey, Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NOROCK), is offering a funding opportunity to develop a general modeling approach that assesses how the efficacy of different management approaches depends upon pathogen characteristics and host movement rates. In addition, a case study of bighorn sheep movement will be conducted in Nevada to assess how far individuals tend to foray away from stablished home ranges and whether these foray movements are associated with habitat and population covariates. These analyses will support wildlife and health managers interested in limited disease transmission between domestic and wild sheep in this region.
