The CRIT Department is offering a grant to improve the channel and stabilize the banklines at the Aha Quin Resort along the Colorado River. Due to severe sediment plugging, the backwater conveyance channel and culvert, crucial for maintaining water access to the area, are at risk of failure. The grant aims to replace the culvert to ensure continued access to various tribe-owned buildings and facilities, such as an airstrip, storage units, boat launch ramp, fuel tanks, restaurant, convenience store, and a community park with public restrooms in the Hall Island area. Deadline for applications is Sep 15, 2013.

As the Tribe maintains numerous buildings and business operations in the Hall Island area, |
