This Department of Agriculture grant is for expanding skill-based, employer-driven SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) providers, moving participants towards economic self-sufficiency. It aims to build new technical assistance capacity by organizing conferences, developing peer-to-peer learning networks, creating resources like toolkits, promoting best practices via webinars, and offering professional development. Furthermore, the grant provides ongoing technical assistance to member or affiliate organizations, enabling them to become proficient third-party SNAP E&T providers. The ultimate purpose is to significantly increase expertise among these organizations to deliver effective E&T services nationwide.
