The installation encompasses 61,000 acres of primarily upland oak-hickory forest, 19/25 miles of permanent/intermittent streams, and 240 acres of impoundments that support an abundance of terrestrial and aquatic flora and fauna, including sensitive species.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: All responsible, non-federal entities submitting funding requests that meet the requirements in the scope of work will be considered for this funding opportunity. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: Title 16 U.S.C. Q: My question for the Clean Water Act RFP is related to Task 6 – GIS Technical Assistance. The RFP specifies 5 support staff to support the tasks. In order to understand and plan for this support in the proposal, can you tell me the level of effort specifically envisioned for Task 6. I understand that having some GIS capacity within the support team is very beneficial, but Task 6 reads so broadly, including “developing and maintaining GIS data sets as it relates to environmental, natural resources, and cultural resource programs”, that I need help in understanding the task. Does this mention of natural and cultural resource programs refer support for the electronic field data collection system that is used by all three programs? A:The GIS is estimated at 1/2 FTE. This can be covered by one person 1/2 time to this task and 1/2 time to one of the other tasks or split by all 5 employees. The installation will be flexible on how the time is split but would like at least one FTE to have GIS capabilities. The GIS FTE may be required to do GIS in more than just CWA; ie., the other programs as well. |
