The Department of Defense (DOD) is offering the Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program (PRCRP) New Investigator Award to support early-career independent PIs. This grant funds innovative, high-impact genetic cancer research focused on exposures unique to a military lifestyle. It seeks proposals identifying gene changes, investigating carcinogenic mechanisms, trans-generational cancer risk, and genetic susceptibility differences related to military physical, chemical, biological, or psychological exposures and stressful environments.
