Agency Name: NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND
Description: The purpose of the Cooperative Agreement is to construct shoreline stabilization measures as provided in the existing design (Appendix 2) to provide stone revetment to restore the shoreline along the eastern shoreline of NAS PAX. These measures could include installing erosion control measures, debris removal and reworking existing broken concrete. Specifically, the work shall construct the Navy-approved and permitted final design for shoreline restoration (Appendix 2). In addition, the Cooperator shall maintain the necessary Federal and State permits with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services (U.S. FWS), Maryland State Historic Preservation Office (MD SHPO) and all other required regulatory agencies to facilitate the repair to the shoreline at NAS Patuxent River. All coordination with regulatory agencies must be coordinated through the technical point of contact (TPOC).
