The Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking feedback from diverse stakeholders on the design and implementation of its Domestic Manufacturing Conversion Grants program for Electrified Vehicles. Established by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, Section 50143, this initiative aims to support the domestic production of efficient hybrid, plug-in electric hybrid, plug-in electric drive, and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles. This Request for Information (RFI) specifically invites input from manufacturers, minority-owned businesses, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, State and local officials, labor unions, Tribes, and community-based organizations.
