Description: |
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is meant to seek innovative and replicable solutions to support electrified medium- and heavy-duty vehicles (MHDVs), accelerate charging infrastructure deployment, reduce grid impacts through vehicle-grid integration (VGI) strategies, and drastically reduce GHG emissions in support of the Administration goals. This FOA supports the administration goals laid out above by identifying potential solutions to address the current gaps in electrified MHDV charging infrastructure necessary to enable greater utilization of electrified fleets, and drastically reducing GHG emissions due to MHD trucks. The outcomes of this program will lead to accelerated deployment of large-scale EV charging infrastructure with clean energy resource technologies, as well as provide greater grid resiliency and reliability. |
