Additional Information on Eligibility: This is a Notice of Intent to award a Single Source Cooperative Agreement to Montana State University (MSU), Department of Ecology for the purpose of transferring funds and services in order to form the structure of a cooperative research program between U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bozeman Fish Technology Center (Technology Center) and MSU¿s Department of Ecology.

Description: The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows:a. share in the responsibilities for determining and assessing the direction of the overall research program through frequent communication and coordination with project cooperators to ensure that project requirements are met;b. provide scientific expertise in projects to assess and apply the swimming abilities of native fishes and be directly involved in planning, experiment design, implementation, and sampling of the collaborative research projects, compilation and analysis of data, and interpretation and dissemination of results;c. provide staff time for conducting the fish-swimming experiments and any necessary laboratory analyses;d. provide office space and supplies and computers for data compilation and analyses (including analysis of fish swimming video) and for writing of reports and publications;e. provide staff time for consultations on experimental design and statistical analyses; and f. participate in writing progress, draft final, and final project reports and publications for scientific peer-reviewed journals.
