Additional Information on Eligibility: | Single Source: The Tuluksak Native Community was selected based on their unique qualifications. The Tuluksak Native Community owns or administers the land downstream of the project that is necessary to successfully monitor juvenile and adult salmon populations. Secondly, the Tuluksak Native Community has been a long-term cooperator on the Tuluksak Weir project including hiring technicians and assisting with project logistics. The Tuluksak Native Community has the ability to support their employees in the field based on existing infrastructure. Finally, the Tuluksak Native Community is the leading local authority to act as an advocate for the Service�s conservation mission on the Tuluksak River. |
