Description:

The purpose of this project is to conduct a VOI Impact Assessment of the application of Landsat and other contemporary earth science (e.g., geologic maps) data to forest risk management decisions. The analysis will focus on an application of information derived from Landsat in LANDFIRE and


geologic attributes in the subsurface coupled with an economics framework to assess the VOI of the data in forest risk management.  Eligible applicant: University of New Mexico.
