The Department of Health is offering the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Research on E-Cigarettes grant to stimulate research on the non-cancer cardiovascular and pulmonary effects of electronic cigarette exposure. This grant welcomes studies investigating the effects of e-cigarettes on cardiovascular and pulmonary systems using clinical populations, animal models, or cell preparations. Research may focus on the whole e-cigarette aerosol, individual components, deposition in airways, and resulting heart and lung consequences.
