Description: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for infrastructure support to advance the development of efficacy and/or effectiveness research on recovery support services for those who were or who are being maintained on medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder. The infrastructure support will facilitate multi-stakeholder (e.g. researchers and students, payors, providers, individuals in recovery) research networks through meetings, conferences, small-scale pilots, data development work, short-term educational opportunities (such as intensive workshops, summer institutes, or visiting scholar programs), and dissemination to encourage growth and development of specified priority areas and to build resources for advancing recovery support services research. Network applications are to support research related to the following priority recovery support services (1) peer-based recovery support, (2) recovery community centers, (3) active recovery communities, (4) recovery residences, (5) education-based recovery support services, and (6) continuing care models, or others proposed by applicants.
