The Department of Homeland Security is offering the Fiscal Year 2012 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) to enhance national security. This grant is for strengthening capabilities across states and high-threat urban areas, focusing on preventing, protecting against, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from terrorism and catastrophic events. It also supports enhanced inter-agency cooperation for securing U.S. borders.
