Additional Information on Eligibility: | Public Housing Authorities with the legal authority to develop, own, modernize and operate a public housing development in accordance with the 1937 Act. Tribes and tribally designated housing entities (TDHEs), nonprofit organizations, and resident associations are not eligible to apply. PHAs that are troubled or under the direction of HUD or a court-appointed receiver are eligible for funding, provided the agency is in compliance with any current Memorandum of Agreement or Recovery Agreements. Individuals, foreign entities, and sole proprietorship organizations are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. |
