Agency Name: Fish and Wildlife Service
Description: The Recipient is responsible for the management of Russ Stuart and Painted Woods WildlifeDevelopment Areas as described in the General Plan, as amended, the Project Management Plan(November 1985) and Memorandum of Understanding between the Service and the Bureau of Reclamation. The Recipient will manage these lands in compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws and will act as an agent of the Service for the conservation, maintenance and management of wildlife resources.
The Russ Stuart and Painted Woods Wildlife Development Area Management Plan was developed in 1989. The Bureau of Reclamation transfers funds through the Service each year for this purpose. This is a continuation of a previous financial assistance agreement.
