Additional Information

Agency Name: National Park Service
Description: United State Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) Notice of Intent to Award. This is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition to American Conservation Experience (ACE), to collaboratively work with the NPS and continue the long term partnership that promotes natural resource stewardship, outreach, and education. The applicant is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based upon a variety of demonstrable factors such as location, cost-sharing ability if applicable, technical expertise, or other such unique qualifications. Additionally, ACE is a long-term key partner in resource management projects with the National Park Service. The NPS has agreed to support the American Conservation Experience mission to cooperate in conservation projects that provide meaningful, educational experiences to youth, which promotes understanding and goodwill. Interns will receive experience in a broad range of duties that combine service and field work and data entry; the intern will also receive cross-training in and assist with other resource conservation management work through participating in other cultural and natural resource restoration projects.
