Additional Information on Eligibility: | Eligible applicants are for-profit (commercial) organizations, nonprofit organizations (including tribal nonprofit and for-profit organizations), faith-based and community organizations, and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education). BJA welcomes applicants to partner with other technical assistance providers who have in-depth knowledge in policing. Competitive applications will identify significant law enforcement expertise or be submitted in partnership with a police organization or association that has the capacity to consult and engage communities on issues of improved police and public health responses to people with mental health disorders (MDs) and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (CODs). For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. |
