Agency Name: National Institute of Justice
Description: The goal of this research program is to provide a more comprehensive and extensive understanding of domestic radicalization as it occurs in the United States, and to provide State, local and tribal criminal justice agencies evidence-based tools to address it. The primary objective of this solicitation is to produce research studies that improve this understanding by filling gaps in the existing research or expanding on existing work to provide insights for criminal justice agencies. The secondary objective of this solicitation is to provide the empirical basis upon which to formulate and implement policies and programs designed to address domestic radicalization in the United States. The deliverables from this solicitation will consist of research studies and published works that speak to these objectives.
