It is important to note that USAID strongly encourages applicants to develop consortia with other responsible and eligible organizations (U.S. or Non-U.S. Organizations) with complementary capabilities and experiences if conducive to the achievement of results under the program objectives.
USAID will not accept applications from individuals. All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law. Local organizations are eligible and encouraged to apply, as well as consortia of local organizations. A local organization applicant must be locally recognized under the laws of the country in which it is domiciled. A local organization does not include subsidiaries, affiliates, or member entities of organizations located outside of, or organized outside of the country where it is domiciled.
