The Department of the Interior, through its Bureau of Land Management Alaska division, is offering a grant specifically for its Threatened and Endangered Species Program. This grant is designed to support critical initiatives aimed at protecting and conserving threatened and endangered species within Alaska, aligning with the broader goals of environmental stewardship and biodiversity preservation. The program seeks to fund projects that address various aspects of species conservation, including habitat assessment and restoration, population monitoring, research, and recovery efforts for at-risk species. This funding opportunity is intended to bolster efforts to prevent species decline and promote ecological health across the Alaskan landscape. It encourages proposals that contribute significantly to the long-term viability of these vulnerable populations and their ecosystems. The closing date for applications is April 10, 2023.
