Agency Name: National Park Service
Description: The objective of this Agreement is to fulfill the mission and development of the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site and the economic development of Kiowa County through the development of park support facilities within the county.

Kiowa County will:
1. Provide architectural services to review NPS design and construction drawings for the NPS tenant finishes to the ⿿Murdock Building.⿝
2. Provide labor and materials funded through this agreement to install the tenant finishes as agreed between the NPS and Recipient.
3. Provide service as necessary to develop support facilities as stipulated in legislative authorities.

NPS will:
1. Provide financial assistance as provided in Article VI of the Cooperative Agreement.
2. Provide design and construction drawings for NPS tenant finishes to the historic ⿿Murdock Building.⿝
3. Provide design and construction drawings as necessary for future support facilities as stipulated in legislative authorities.
4. Provide expertise to ensure NPS legal requirements and standards are met.

The Recipient and NPS, jointly, agree to ensure that NPS-funded improvements to the historic ⿿Murdock Building⿝ meet the Secretary of the Interior⿿s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
