THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement.

Master Cooperative Agreement Number P15AC00031 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, (NPS), and The Student Conservation Association (SCA) to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land through service opportunities, outdoor skills, and leadership training. One Youth participant will be engaged in the full range of rehabilitation activities being overseen by HACE technical staff during the summer of 2018. Project work will complete exterior rehabilitation work on the historic Quarters 1 located at Fort Monroe National Monument (FOMR), Fort Monroe, Virginia. Rehabilitation work on Quarters 1 will include but not be limited to.

• Repairs to porch deck framing members
• Installation of replacement deck boards
• Installation of replacement porch columns.
• Painting of trim, decking, columns.
• Brick and stone masonry rehabilitation including stone patching, brick repointing and cleaning.
• Documentation of completed work with photographs and written narratives
