Description: STATEMENT OF JOINT OBJECTIVES/PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN

The purpose of this task agreement is to provide youth serving programs through the maintenance and rehabilitation of the Appalachian Trail and associated facilities in Katahdin region of Maine on Old Blue, Old Elephant Mtn, and Bemis Mtn. Trail rehabilitation work tasks will include: preparing work site for construction(de-duffing); locating, splitting, shaping, transporting and setting native stone for crib wall, edge stones / gargoyles and steps; transporting, shaping and setting imported stone for steps; transporting, placing and compacting imported crushed stone fill and tread surfacing; and naturalizing adjacent areas after construction complete.
