Description: The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (PM/WRA) is pleased to invite eligible organizations to submit grant applications that improve host nation capacity for physical security and stockpile management (PSSM) of small arms and light weapons (SA/LW) and ammunition; destroy excess and obsolete SA/LW and ammunition; train host nation personnel in relevant PSSM; engage with local communities on mine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) safety and awareness; or improve safe access to high-priority infrastructure by clearance of landmines and UXO. Specific goals, objectives, and technical requirements for application packages are detailed below. PM/WRA anticipates awarding up to $1.8 million under this grant opportunity.
