Description: The US Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a single source financial assistance agreement as authorized by 505 DM 2.14 (B) to Debbie F. Slobe (Slobe Creative).

The authorizing statues and regulations for the funding opportunity match the programâ¿¿s CFDA profile and include the Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956, as amended, 16 U.S.C. 742a-754; Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act of 1958, 16 U.S.C. 661-667(e); Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 16 U.S.C. 2901-2911; Migratory Bird Treaty Act, 16 U.S.C. 709a.

The Sonoran Joint Venture (SJV), a program of the Service, is a bi-national migratory bird conservation program that works in southern Arizona and California and northwestern Mexico. The SJV works to conserve the unique birds and their habitats of the region by bringing together partners from both sides of the U.S. â¿¿ Mexican border to integrate the strategies, goals and objectives of existing regional, national, and international bird conservation plans into a single strategic effort that addresses the conservation needs of the area.
