The Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is offering the PSOB National Firefighter Survivor Support Grant to organizations interested in providing survivor peer support, counseling, and resources to families of fallen firefighters and first responders nationwide. This grant aims to expedite and enhance the processing of PSOB Death claims for the families of these public safety officers who make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Applications are welcome until August 11, 2016.

Demonstrated knowledge of the PSOB Programs and related public safety and survivor initiatives is essential. For-profit organizations must agree to forgo any profit or management fee. |
