This grant is for the continued water quality sampling in the Las Vegas Wash (LVW) and its tributaries. It will support real-time data collection at five sites. Water samples will also be collected from eight mainstream, eight tributary, and five well sites. Extensive selenium sampling is specifically included at three tributaries. These samples will be analyzed for various analytes, including nutrients, metals, organics, total suspended solids, low-level selenium, bacteria, and cations and anions. This comprehensive program is vital for understanding and maintaining the water quality within the Las Vegas Wash system.
