The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), through its Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program, is offering this grant to fund applications for developing assessments, tools, techniques, and innovative technologies. This initiative aims to provide information and capacity for preparing for climate-induced changes in extreme events, particularly regarding air and water quality management. This grant is for the purpose of fostering a deeper understanding of extreme climate hazards and establishing collaboration among climate scientists, impact assessment modelers, and air/water quality managers. The goal is to co-produce information necessary for sound policy development related to extreme events and their impact on air and water quality under a changing climate. Regular and early career awards are available.
