Additional Information

Agency Name: Geological Survey
Description: The U.S. Geological Survey, Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center is offering a funding opportunity for a researcher with hydro-ecological expertise to develop remote sensing-based water use products and applications for resource managers on a cloud computing platform. The researcher will develop online-based tools and procedures to aid resources managers in monitoring and assessing landscape water use for applications in drought early warning and water resources management. The research may yield a framework for the effective integration of geospatial datasets with decision-making procedures so that the time lag between data collection, processing and interpretation, and decision making is reduced, implementation is enhanced, and productivity is increased.
